I worked for a large corporation for four years and received EXCELLENT Health Insurance and it came with dental insurance too. I didn’t realize that the plan I had with my Employer had a waiting period of six months before I could get a root canal or a crown. For the first six months I could only get cleanings. After I waited the six months I finally set up my appointment for my root canal. I spent $950 for one root canal and My Insurance Company told me that I have met my dollar limit for coverage, which was $1,000. The problem was that I still needed work done. Since I could afford to get the work done without any coverage I decided to wait until I did. I came across an ad for True Dental Insurance and spoke with Will. When he explained the difference between a Discount plan and True Dental Insurance; I realized my dental coverage was a discount plan compared to having true insurance. I love having co-pays for every procedure and knowing exactly what I should be paying before I go to the dentist. I hate hearing I will get a discount of 25%-35% because that tells me that the dentist is going to raise their price 15%-25%. I just wish I had the Insurance sooner.

The customer service at True Dental Insurance is second to none. You can tell they take pride in satisfying their clients. I came into their office in a panic because I got a quote for over $10,000 worth of dental work and was praying they had a solution. After calming me down, one of the agents showed me from my quote that I could save over $7,000 dollars. We went down line by line matching the codes on my quote to the benefits booklet and we added a total close to $3,400. Even though I couldn’t afford the complete work in one sitting because of this economy; I was able to get close to half the work done and spend around $1,200 and a month later got the rest done. If I didn’t call True Dental Insurance I would have done nothing because I couldn’t afford the work I needed without insurance. It feels good to smile and get compliments on my teeth again!
I would just like to share my story about Safeguard NA245D:
I broke two teeth in one night-they’re getting as old as I am- went to the dentist that was on my Federal Blue Cross and Blue Shield Dental Plan and was told I needed two crowns at a cost of $2412.00 with my insurance it was only going to cost $2198.00 a savings of $214.00 for a retired government worker, having a job at an insurance company that sells all insurance products, I asked the billing department how much would it be if I had safeguard NA245D? The quote came back $770.00 total. I told them make my next appointment next week, I went to work the next day, signed up and had the crowns done at the same place my other insurance company wanted to send me only I saved $1642.00 I feel great am going back to have another tooth done and I didn’t have to mortgage the house for it!
